Elephant-Vac model EV-2 Litter Vacuum picks up litter with its twelve foot long hose as the operator drives along. Drink cans, plastic bags, paper cups, cigarette butts, leaves, broken glass -- anything that fits into the 8" diameter hose is drawn directly into an ordinary throw-away plastic bag. Removal and replacement of the bag takes less than one minute. Mounting the Elephant-Vac to a tractor enables maintainers of large grounds areas to reduce purchase cost by utilizing existing vehicles. The model 3PT Tractor Adapter connects the vacuum unit to a small tractor with a standard category I three point hitch. Elephant-Vac can be connected or disconnected in minutes to free up the tractor for other jobs. Use of a four wheel drive tractor permits access to rugged terrain. Elephant-Vac's Tractor Mounted Litter Vacuum is ideally suited for litter cleanup in landfills and parks, along highways and fencelines, in ditches and drains.... anywhere litter accumulates. Model EV-2 is powered by a 13.0 hp, electric start, fuel efficient Kawasaki engine. It operates all day on less than 3 gallons of gasoline, providing a long range for outdoor clean-up. The vacuum hose is mounted on a balanced spring-boom for easy side to side and up and down movement. The vacuum hose nozzle hangs suspended above the ground and a manual boom adjuster raises or lowers the nozzle to the ideal height for easy operator control. Elephant-Vac model EV-2 Litter Vacuum can also be mounted to various other utility vehicles and industrial trucks. Only Elephant-Vac offers a self-contained Litter Vacuum unit. |
