MODEL NZ48 48" WIDE NOZZLE
Elephant-Vac model NZ48 48" Wide Pickup Nozzle attaches to the front of Elephant-Vac model EVC-4H riding litter vacuum. The NZ48 Wide Nozzle enables Elephant-Vac to do the job of a wide area sweeper as well as its function as a litter vacuum. The NZ48 Nozzle is designed for use on a smooth level surface, such as a paved area. It does not deliver the same performance as the Standard 8" Diameter Nozzle. However, any debris that the NZ48 Nozzle may miss can be easily picked up with the Standard Nozzle by lifting the hose off of the NZ48 nozzle to suck it up, then just as easily replacing the hose onto the NZ48 Nozzle. When vacuuming at one mph, the NZ48 Nozzle will cover an area of 352 square feet per minute or 1/2 acre per hour.
Mounting brackets permanently attach to front axle.
Cables connect with quick links to holes drilled in front bumper.
Nozzle control bars connect with quick pins.
Long lasting steel wear plates are replaceable.
Elephant-Vac hose sets onto nozzle. Can be lifted off for heavy or large pieces and then replaced.
Electric motor linear actuator raises and lowers nozzle. Dash panel mounted switch has quick disconnect plug.
3" diameter wheels can be installed inside nozzle for use along curbs. Remote cable controlled nozzle inlet flap opens from 2" to 4". 2" is for leaves and grass… 4" is for cups and cans…
Angled shape of nozzle rear funnels debris toward pickup hose. Wrap-around strip brush helps loosen stuck debris. Brushes are easily replaced.

Model NZ48 48" wide nozzle attaches to front of Elephant-Vac with quick-connect hardware. Operator places hose on wide nozzle for use. Hose can be easily lifted off of nozzle to pick-up heavy or large pieces missed by the wide nozzle. Nozzle can be raised and lowered with a switch on the dash panel. Ground clearance when raised is 4".
