A clear polycarbonate weathershield is available for Elephant-Vac model EVC-4H. The weathershield provides protection for the operator from rain and wind.

The weathershield is constructed of polycarbonate sheet (Lexan) for strength and scratch resistance. Polycarbonate is the material used for aircraft windows because of its ability to resist breakage.

The shield is formed in a curve over the operator. This bubble design provides maximum visibility for efficient and safe operation. The flexibility of the weathershield allows some movement and flexing while driving the vehicle. This flexibility allows the weathershield to absorb stresses and resist breakage.

Model OHB overhead bar is required for use of the weathershield.

The weathershield is attached to the overhead bar and front body of the vehicle with screws. It can be removed and replaced according to the season. Use of the weathershield restricts use of the vacuum hose to the right side of the vehicle.
